Episode Summary
It may not be your birthday but you so deserve to give yourself this gift. We’re talking about forgiveness. Sometimes it may feel like forgiveness is for others, but you are serving yourself greatly by being open to forgiving those who have wronged or betrayed you.
Anger, revenge, and hostility are wastes of energy for people who are likely not devoting any energy to you. There are immense benefits to forgiveness. Today, I share with you my own vulnerable story of forgiveness, along with some important reasons to consider when it comes to being a forgiving person.
Just a few great reasons for forgiveness I touch on today are; living in the past steals your present and taints your future. Failing to forgive creates misery; pleasant thoughts promote a pleasant mood. The more forgiving you are, the more others will be willing to forgive you. Living a perfect life and making perfect decisions just isn’t possible. Forgiveness might be the best form of *revenge*. Finally, happiness and peace support a healthy life.
